Joann kept hair on Jazz contemplating his
American Conformation Championship with Kay Palade whom said he was finishable no doubt however with much hesitation Joann decided to achieve his
American Companion Dog Obedience Title instead.
Below are Joann words of her wonderful accomplishment!!!!
I am so very proud of them.....our first American Title!!!

Hi there, Just a quick update on "our" boy! Took him up to Atlanta last Wednesday. On Thursday, he visited Michele Polito and went back into his "big boy" haircut - that would be the HCC. Then on Friday - Sunday we were in Novice B and on Saturday he got his third leg, along with a third place against 40 dogs! HE'S SUCH A STAR!! He loves everyone he sees and is such a good boy.
This past weekend was only his second weekend out. First was in October (I think, or maybe November), I took him to a show in Montgomery, AL. He was quite overwhelmed with the whole deal, but he did qualify (a 180, uck). This time, particularly Friday, he was right "on." We got a fourth with a 195 - and that's with me on the end of the leash which is truly a handicap for him, but he's learning to overcome.
Saturday we got a third with 191 ½ , and by Sunday he was really ready to GO HOME. But we pulled out another fourth with a 189. I'm telling you, he's GOOD! I had all kinds of people coming up to me wanting to take pictures, wanting to pat him, etc. I love when people politely ask if it's o.k. to pat, and I can say "absolutely, he'd be crushed if you didn't" because we don't have really big hair to worry about.
Anyway, I know you're as proud of him as I am. I thank my lucky star every day that I called and got you on the phone over 3 years ago; I remember you told me that you thought you might just have the right dog for me. BOY, HOW RIGHT YOU WERE - AND ARE!! I had his picture taken and hopefully it will turn out. Of course, he was sitting down (obedience, right?), but at least you'll get a recent look at him. jd
