LOL today he spotted a black Standard Poodle bitch ooooo he
thought and then he was distracted as you see in the photo and videos below!!!
What a boy! I still love him of course!
Our last Trial #4 he was better (as I was able to work with him a bit) until I goofed costing him 10 points. I have balance issues and suffered with some lower back pain for the past 2-1/2 years . I've just finally gotten some relief. One can not train when in pain! It's also very hard on our dogs. So onwards and upwards!

Trial # 3 (video on left)
Well he qualified for his 2nd Q with a 74 but when you haven't done your training you'll expect what you get. #208 Stand, Leave Dog, Sit Dog, Call Front and Finish. He did not sit so IP-incorrectly performed minus -10 points. It didn't help with Mambo barking out distracting him more however we must train and proof for distractions! #201 Sit, Stand, Down. Elbows must touch ground! IP-10 points. SR for slow responses. |

Better on Kareems performance with two OOP-Out of Position so -2 pts. On our favourite #208 as in Trial #3, we got SR -2, LOT-Lack of Teamwork -2. Unfortunately I turned incorrectly on #212 About Turn Right-About U Turn -10! Sorry Kareem, he would have had a 94! He still qualified with 84 for his 3rd Q to achieve his Rally Excellent Title! |

I really need to spend some time and train with my boy!!! Fronts need a lot of work! He had fun however a little bit too much. LOL

Well I decided to enter our local obedience club to support them plus test myself and have fun with the poodles!!! Yup we did LOL I hadn't trained with Kareem for over two years but decided to just do it regardless!!!
We had a qualifying run however I totally forgot all about the "sit & stay" at the very end in Excellent. The last time I had competed in Excellent was with Shimmer back in October 2019 in AKC! So we NQ'd!

This was our next Rally Obedience Trial since July 2019 as I was busy showing
Mambo and Twinks in Conformation for their Grand Championship Titles.
Kareem scored his 3rd Q towards his Rally Advanced Title.
We, as it is a team after all, scored 93 points out of 100.
As my Mom has been in the hospital and not well, Mom has been top priority so we have not been training as one does before Trials.
We lost Mom March 5th a couple of weeks after this visit.

I am most pleased of how well Kareem performed despite his mother being in standing heat! His brains held it together with little distractions. :)

Not too bad considering we have not done any training since he was just over a year old (now 3 months shy of 3 years old) when we did the three levels of
Trick Dog with DMWYD which I strongly encourage all my puppy people
to get the Kyra Sundance book 101 Dog Tricks!
This gave him just enough of a baseline ....
