September 23, 2018 Just got home from Ballerup IDS, Denmark. KBHJV - 17 KBHV - 17 Violets Soaked In Silver (Am CH Red Barn Going For Broke x Can CH Violet Shimmering Sensation) "Hobbe" was Best Of Breed (BOB) with CAC and CACIB. He was also rewarded the title Copenhagen Winner 2018 AND Danish Champion under breed specialist Ann Ingram, Ireland. Hobbe was a star in the ring and in the group final. Visby National Dog Show Gotland, Sweden August 25, 2018 KBHJV -17 KBHV - 17 Violets Soaked In Silver aka Hobbe was #4 best male under judge Michael Ganzer, SE. Visby IDS 26/8, Hobbe was #3 best male with reserve CAC and CACIB under judge Mikael Nilsson, SE. Now I will rest and hope that my fever and cold stays at Gotland when we leave this afternoon. ♥ ♥ ♥
International Dog Show in Neumünster, Germany June 2, 2018 Great News Hobbe, KBHJV -17 KBHV -17 Violets Soaked In Silver (breeder Deborah Foster of Violet Standard Poodles in Canada), was best male, BOS and awarded with CAC, CACIB and a lovely critique by Judge Liane Kubbe, Germany. It was a good show for our Swedish gang; Two BOB and two BOS and Ms Rose was runner up in the group final! Congratulations to all of us and thank you for great company! Especially to Ian for grooming Hobbe, being the best travelling partner and for keeping me awake on our way home!

May 11, 2018 KBHVJ -17 KBHV -17 Violets Soaked In Silver, Hobbe, was an absolute star in the showring today, but ended up as third best male with very nice critique. Judge Christine Rossier, Switzerland. Kritik til hund SE10238/2017: 22 months old, good size, compact, firm in top line, good tail set, exc. leg, male head with good expression, good ears, strong in pigmentation, exc. wool and grey color, movement straight and free. Groomed by Ian Dilton, styled and handled by me.

National Poodle Speciality in Gothenburg today.
Since I had surgery in my foot a couple of weeks ago, I couldn't trot in the ring myself. My very good friend Ian Dilton groomed and showed Hobbe for me. Thank you Ian, you're a star! 😘

Hobbe got excellent with a very nice critique from
Danish judge Kresten Scheel.
Translated: 19 months old male with good size. Excellent compact body proportions.I prefer a bit more masculine nose on a male. Correct bite.
Beautiful eyes.Well chiseled under the eyes. Good neck. Excellent topline, croup and tailset. Very well angulated. Good coat and beautiful grooming.
Sound and powerful movement, with appropriate length of step.
Excellent drive in the hind legs.

Malmö, Sweden · Violets Soaked In Silver "Hobbe", 8 months old, made his debut in the showring this weekend. He ended up BOB Puppy, both on the Poodle Speciality in Strömsnäsbruk (judge Kay Radmacher, Germany) and Malmö International Dog Show (judge Natasa Davidovic, Serbia). In Strömsnäsbruk he also was BIS 4 Puppy. Our only goal for this weekend was to make the shows a positive and fun experience for Hobbe and he did great.
