The Sprinter track is 100 meters = 328 feet
Points calculations
360 divide by time = KPH KPH x handicap of 1.25 = points
Titles for Sprinter
Novice Sprinter (NS) = 150 points
Sprinter (S) = 500 points
Advanced Sprinter (AS) = 1000 points
Sprinter Excellent (SX) = 1500 points

Thankful for my husband Larry to come and enjoy the Poodle Girls and also release them for their Sprinter Tests. Two people are required in order to participate in this as you also need a catcher! My Standard Poodles very willingly after they had fun with the lure first, come in immediately to me where I am holding open their Mendota Leashes moving their heads right into the loop and off we go from the track receiving lots of verbal praise and hand contact. They really already had their reward of catching the lure.
My dear friend Claire whom I met 20 years ago at a dog show! Love you girl! So very proud of you!!!

I quickly took a couple of photos at the Sprinter event as the sky was so dramatic below and the colours were not to be missed.

She definitely loves this sport and greats me first after completing her run then goes to the lure and tells me all about it!!! LOL Larry my husband came with us today and helped release the dogs for their run. He told me before Twinks was released at Tally Ho, that she was telling him all about how she wanted that plastic bunny!!! Oh how I love my little girl! LOL She is a hoot!
