Our first time for both
Santos and I to ever be in an Obedience Ring!
We competed in our first Rally
Trail at the Novice A Level
taking a Qualifying Score for 97 out of 100!!! We were 2 seconds from tieing for High in Class!
Our second trial that afternoon gave us another Qualifying Score of 95
out of 100. We need one more Q to have his Rally Novice Title ''RN" which will make him Am.Can.Ch.Violet Sky Above CGC HIT RN
Woot woot!!!
We both had a great time and Santos loves it!!!

Coming up for BIS - BBE was the barely-year-old Standard Poodle dog, Violet Sky Above, who is lovingly presented by Deborah Foster. Foster is one of those rare individuals who believes the amount of reward one can expect from a project can be gauged precisely by the amount of work put in. A relative newcomer to the sport of conformation exhibiting, Foster has already become a fixture on the West Coast scene, with several stout wins to her credit.

AKA "Santa Toes" named by my girlfriends 6 year old daughter as she paused with arms crossed holding her hand up to her face trying to remember his name and piped up Santa Toes!!!
It has stuck with all his friends!!!

Santos will be shown occasionally in the States as I am also showing Client Dogs and Santos Siblings.

in conjunction with
Poodle Club of America 74th National Specialty Show, Salisbury, Maryland, USA

Best Adult in Silver Match & Best Bred By Exhibitor in Silver Match today.
We continued on to compete with the two Winners from the Brown Match and Apricot/Red Match which he took Best Overall Adult Poodle of all 3 Colour Matches combined with approximately 80 Poodles in all three Poodle Varieties!!!

Thank you to the most talented Terri Meyers for her excellent scissoring and grooming of Santos for me.
While Santos & I were in Maryland, upon phoning home, I learnt that in the The Vancouver Sun ARTS & LIFE under PAPARAZZI was a photo of Santos!!!
My sister had been looking through the Newspaper when she came across his photo and said that is Santos!!! LOL
