Today we had moved up to the Specials Class taking a chance not getting a security point.
We were Select Bitch to the other one whom took Best Opposite Sex for the point.
So, for now, we will wait and watch CKC for our acknowledgment of Zenyas Canadian Championship Title.
Huge thanks to all the volunteers and members of the Renaissance Dog Association to help us all enjoy spending time
with our beloved canine friends! On to other events for now!
Earlier today and yesterday, we had cold wind with rain so nope, I was not walking in that with four Standard Poodles thank you very much, so we had some quick out and back at the trailer set up. I was pleased with the two crates I set up in the Ember to keep my sanity.
Hmmmm, I’ll get back to you on that!

We were at the class level once more for today against the very same Specials bitch which is tougher as competing against
a higher level you must be very polished!
Hubby came out with some pre-cooked ham, scalloped potatoes (my favourite) and broccoli for our Easter Dinner!
Thanks Larry, it was a good dinner and much enjoyed.
We also got very spoiled with a beautiful Easter basket with some fun and yummy goodies from Kareems most wonderful new momma!
Thank you and for giving Kareem a spot made for a King! 👑🐩 I’m so beyond pleased and happy for you both!
Looking forward to our upcoming playdates!

We stayed at the class level today hoping for a security point however our class level competition pulled for the rest of the weekend.
We were now against a very lovely mature Specials bitch whom with Mambo had a beautiful litter over two years ago which produced three Canadian Champions! Bronte has maturity over Zenya.
Congratulations to her Breeder Owner Suzanne on Brontes Grand Championship Title!
Friday and yesterday we had a couple good pack walks earlier in the day with the four girls! Momma Twinks, sisters Dazzle and Charm,
and cousin Zenya!

Easter Weekend at the Renaissance Dog Show
I had the most wonderful time out at a sunny Chilliwack Heritage Park for the Renaissance shows for Zenya this past weekend.
My first time out in the new Ember travel trailer we go with four Standard Poodle girls in tow.
Dazzle came for a stay so I was able to settle her into the pack quite well beforehand!
Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter with their family and friends! Bring on summer!

Under the most honourable Judge Ms.Honey Glendinning, we had the most spectacular day!
We showed from the Bred By Exhibitor Class as I always do with my Standard Poodles. Zenya was awarded Winners Female over an American Champion bitch that had gotten the breed from the classes yesterday and went on to a group 4th.
So that gave us one point for a total of three now.
We went back in the ring to compete against the Winners Male at the same time the Specials (already Canadian Champions) compete against each other for Best of Breed.
Our Judge pointed to Zenya and I for Best of Winners, BEST of BREED and Best Puppy in Breed!!!
Wow, what an amazing recognition that I truly appreciate for my girl! This gave us another point for a required two-point win towards the Canadian Championship Title.
Zenya is now on four points out of the 10 we need.
We went in for the Non Sporting Group amongst some lovely dogs then went back in for our Non Sporting Puppy Group which
Zenya was awarded for BPIG (Best Puppy in Group)!

I had everything packed in the Van & Trailer, ready to go right on time with dogs loaded then ... OH NO the keys were in the locked van!!!
BCAA to the rescue and I was able to make my BC Ferries reservation with 30 minutes to spare! Whew!
Thankfully the rest of our trip went well. So glad I chose to give myself an extra day before the show after our arrival day. Two friends came to meet me to help set up my site! So wonderful to see and visit old friends and have their help.
They brought some yummy treats and beautiful flowers !
Zenya was scissored Friday ready to go for the next day show!
