Shimmer came out this weekend with her son Kareem to the
International All Breed Canine Association Show. This is a nice relaxed show that has a pleasant atmosphere where you can catch up with friends and dog lovers alike. A little more time is spent with the judge as they write a critique on each individual dog which is then given to you as you exist the ring.
Another nice way to get your beloved canine out and about and have fun! :)

from North Carolina, U.S.A. Shimmer takes Winners Female against seven other female Standard Poodles for a lovely win of 3 points and Best Opposite Sex
which finished her Canadian Championship Title!
Shimmer was shown exclusively by myself from the
Bred By Exhibitor Class with competition. We continued on to show in the
Non Sporting Group for the Best Bred By Exhibitor wining Best in Group!!!
Another very lovely win under Judge Mrs.Jane Forsyth from N.C. to complete the end of Shimmers Canadian Championship Title.
(It was fun to be included in the lovely lineup for the Best In Show for the
Best Bred By Exhibitor. Congratulations to the Miniature Pinscher)

as I have to bathe Shimmer out first from the show ;)
Okay done and I am very much enjoying the best ceasar salad with lots of garlic the day after the show weekend (Monday) in a beautiful outdoor patio garden with a lovely breeze on a beautiful sunny afternoon ... this is as close as it gets for me for any kind of a holiday! :)
Shimmer came out for the first time this weekend since exactly one year ago to this very same show which after I had suffered a concussion in October of 2013 when I shaved off her show coat.
Since I am only an eight minute drive away from this show,
I figured this is it, just do it girls!!! It has been a challenge and
I so look forward to doing some Performance Events in the future once I can accomplish the fast turns etc as I am still feeling the effects of the concussion!!
I extend big thanks to the Pacific Kennel Club for the huge tents in the show rings this weekend during this hot weather as I would have had to pull my entry
if not for those fabulous tents!!
Huge thank you's to my friends and family for your support during this time!
